What is the Polar Plunge?
The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping or running into the icy waters of Wisconsin. In 2010 a total of over 9,500 plungers participated in twelve Polar Plunges and helped to raise about $1.7 million for Special Olympics Wisconsin statewide. Thank you to everyone who participated! Efforts like these make a huge difference in the lives of Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes.
